STANDARD PLYWOOD

    Birch plywood is used where good strength properties and demanding appearance is required.

    Main applications are:
    • furnishing
    • indoor lining
    • panelling of public buildings
    • vehicle flooring

    Birch plywood is manufactured from thin veneers. One veneer is 1,4 mm thick. Veneer layers have a cross-bonded structure. There are at least 3 veneers in a plywood panel. A panel always includes an odd number of veneers. Advantages of birch plywood are: stiffness, tightness, shock-proof, and multiple use.

    Softwood plywood panels are manufactured from 2,0 - 3,0 mm veneers which are glued crosswise.

    Softwood plywood is known for its stiffness properties, and water-resistant glue properties, which suits well for bearing constructions such as roofing, flooring and wall structures.

    This plywood is a lightweight and economic construction material.

     

    Birch & Aspen oiltreated plywood OILFORMTM is designed and manufactured specifically for concreteforming on all wall, deck, and pillar surfaces.

    Both surfaces are fully repaired, sanded, edge-sealed and pre-oiled with a superior chemically reactive release agent.

    As an exterior rated product, OILFORMTM is bonded with an exterior resin and is designed for applications subject to permanent exposure to wet conditions.

Coated plywood

     

    Birch plywood is used as a base, which is covered on both sides with smooth phenolic film, and usually has a dark brown color. Filmfaced plywood is used for concrete formworks, for transportation flooring and for farming constructions.

    For filmfaced plywood it is usually used a 120 g/m2 weight film, other specifications are available on request. Panel edges are protected with acrylic paint, which slows down a moisture penetration.

     

    Birch plywood is used as a base. Plywood is coated with smooth phenolic film on one side, and on the other side with wiremesh coating. Standard color is dark brown. Filmfaced plywood is used for concrete formworks, for transportation flooring and for flooring in building constructions.

    Filmfaced Color plywood is used for transportation flooring, for inner lining applications and for farming constructions. The panel edges are protected with acrylic paint, which slows down a moisture penetration. Birch plywood is used as a base, where both sides are covered with smooth phenolic film or one side is covered with smooth phenolic film, and other side is covered with smooth/wiremesh coating.

Laminated veneer lumber

     

    UGRA T - laminated veneer lumber, where all veneers have longitudinal direction. But, compared to UGRA S, this type of LVL is produced of lighter veneer.

    Due to its straightness and dimensional stability, this product is recommended for such applications as studs of load bearing/ non-bearing outer and internal walls.

     

    UGRA S - laminated veneer lumber, where all veneers run parallel to grain. UGRA S is successfully used as structural elements of buildings and bridges. It can be used both in construction of new buildings and for reconstruction purposes since it can easily combine with older structures or replace them completely.

    UGRA S is the builder’s preferred choice for floor beams, headers, and engineering structures.

     

    UGRA Q - laminated veneer lumber, where, on customer’s request, some cross grained veneers can be added, thus alleviating negative moisture effect. This product is perfect for constructions that require highly stable physical and mechanical properties of the material.

    Its applications include: floor panels, roofing panels, curved form panels, curved beams, stiffening panels.
